Global Hope Coalition Honors Some Empowering Women
Not all heroes wear capes. The Global Hope Coalition Leadership Summit honored 10 people for their fight against hate and radicalism. The session focused on the world’s people as a whole. This highlights the importance of basic human rights for all. Almost half of the honorees are women, who are pioneering empowerment through social change.
The Global Hope Coalition brought more than 650 international business and government leaders, philanthropists, activists and social icons together in New York City during the United Nation General Assembly. Honoring these everyday heroes truly is a step towards positive social change. “These women have chosen to rise up against hate and show young girls that it is ok to speak up” said Lady Jamileh Kharrazi.
